According to a friend of a friend of a friend, Ben filmed a video in the pirate costume. And the f-o-a-f-o-a-f might actually get to be in the video, which is so cool.
I wasn't really planning on posting about it, just because I don't know the guy who got to meet Ben, and if I were in his situation, I wouldn't really want someone who I don't know spreading my story on the intertubes, but Ben's pirate costume on Conan brought it out, so.
From the story that my friend told me, the friend-of-a-etc. was driving in Nashville (my friend didn't know where) and almost "ran over" Ben (I don't know any details, lol). This eventually led to Ben inviting him and his wife to be extras in a video he was filming, and my friend showed me a picture of the guy with Ben, decked out in pirate garb with his sword pointed at the camera. And so Ben supposedly filmed a video with him as a pirate... though there's no guarantee that the final version will end up with that, I guess. But that's all I know. Definitely the coolest random Ben encounter I've heard of.

I could kinda tell that him and Conan were talking about how it was to play with the eyepatch at the end eh.
Sooo does anyone know exactly why he wore the pirate outfit, or just for the pure awesome-ness of it??
